AquaSox Pull Off Thrilling 3-1 Win in Extras
|
In a low-scoring clash between Everett and New Westminster, pitcher Yudas Colin was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned praise for his performance in the 3-1 AquaSox win. Tanner May was called on to finish, recording his 1st save. Everett has a record of 20-8, placing them first in the Northwest League North Division.
Brantley Dietrich provided a timely hit. The Everett shortstop delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the 11th inning to put the AquaSox on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.
"A lot to like, just frustrated that we came up short," said New Westminster manager Kenny Lorek.
