The Medford-Salem-Keizer matchup turned into a slugfest.

The inspired effort of Salem-Keizer first baseman Madison Rosenbaum was not enough to prevent a loss, 13-11, to the Medford Flying Tigers. Rosenbaum went 2-2 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Albert Herrera was called on to finish, recording his 7th save.

Wally Adams had a big grand slam home run for the Flying Tigers in the bottom of the seventh inning. With Medford trailing 11-8 and the bases loaded, he sized up a changeup from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Patrick Hall and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Flying Tigers on top, 12-11.

"They're fun to watch and the hitters get to pad their stats but nobody's really happy about a game like that," Medford manager Anthony Delaney. "I promise you I'm not happy."

The Flying Tigers improved their record to 15-9 by beating Salem-Keizer.
