New Westminster Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
New Westminster Cavalry starter Stewart Ware pitched his team past the Spokane Indians in 10 innings, 2-1. Emilio Rubio was the winner in relief. His record is now 2-1. The losing pitcher was Miller Lasher. New Westminster is in 6th place in the Northwest League North Division with a record of 12-11.

New Westminster got a knockout punch from A.J. Steele. The center fielder hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"I've been criticized for being a slacker, but the one thing I do care about is winning," Ware told the New Westminster Herald.
