Morris Powers Pippins to 7-3 Win
|
The Yakima Valley Pippins defeated the Kennewick Marauders, 7-3. First Baseman K.J. Morris deserved a large share of the credit. Morris was 2 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for the Pippins. The winning pitcher was Craig Browder. He's now 1-0. He went 6.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 4 hits for the Pippins. Yakima Valley raised its record to 13-13 with the win.
