Isaiah Hardin was masterful in helping the Gold Beach Sea Unicorns take down the Medford Flying Tigers, 7-1. Hardin picked up the win for Gold Beach, going 6.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0. The Sea Unicorns, at 12-7, sit in first place in the Northwest League South Division.

Nicky Edwards had a big 2-run double for the Sea Unicorns in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Gold Beach leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a screwball from Loyd Middleton, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2057 draft, and swatted a double to left. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Sea Unicorns ahead, 4-0.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Hardin said.
