The Wenatchee Chiefs beat the Rogue Valley Dodgers, 3-2. Wenatchee pitcher and Tampa, Florida, native Hunter Stigger led the way. The winning pitcher was Stigger, now 3-2. He tossed 5.1 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 2. Picking up the save was Jake Gill, his 2nd.

Wenatchee used the timely hitting of Brian Gaudreault to capture the win. The center fielder socked a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Chiefs ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"Against this team here, fangs out late in the game, it's nice to beat them," said Wenatchee skipper Aaron Lambert.

The Chiefs improve their record to 30-15 with the win over Rogue Valley.
