Flying Tigers Hope Win Turns Around Slow Start
The Medford Flying Tigers and starting pitcher Russell West stifled the Boise offense en route to a comfortable 8-2 win at Medford Grounds. Yes, it was a win for Medford; but their 5-10 mark is nothing to crow about.

Joey Schultz was 2 for 4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Medford. The 24-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With no one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a 2-run single off Hunter Faria. It was his 16th hit of the season.

Schultz was taciturn after the game. "A win's a win," he said.
