The Yakima Valley Pippins locked up a win at Redding Grounds, knocking off the Gold Beach Sea Unicorns, 4-2. On the mound for Yakima Valley was right-hander Dawlyn Bermudez. He played a major role in the triumph. Ollie De Los Santos, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 6th save. Gold Beach is 2-12 after the loss.

Jason Ball, who is rated as the 86th best prospect by BNN, had a direct impact on the outcome. Ball contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Yakima Valley up, 4-2.
