|
The Maine Lobsters relied on the hitting of catcher Stanley Rowley to stop the Roseburg Owls, 10-2. For the game, Rowley was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Maine reliever Elodio Guerrero picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Tony Tucker took the loss. The win hiked the Maine record to 24-18.
The Lobsters got a big at-bat from second baseman Tristan Main. For the game, Main went 1-3 with a double and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. In the bottom of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 8th double of the season gave Maine a 3-0 lead.
In postgame comments, Main told the Maine News: "Do people still doubt I give 100 percent?"
