Muckdogs Rally For 7-3 Win
|
The Batavia Muckdogs beat the Oil City Oilers, 7-3, at The Oil Field. Batavia shortstop Aiden Wallace had an outstanding performance. He went 2 for 4 with 2 triples and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Vinny Jaramillo earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. His record is now 3-0. Batavia bumps their record to 25-15 with the win.
Batavia took a 7-3 lead on Wallace's 4th triple of the season. The bases-clearing triple, which he hit off Alex Bruning in the top of the eighth, propelled Batavia to the win.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Batavia manager Adam LaBreck.
