Flying Tigers Beat Pippins, 5-3, at Medford Grounds
Flying Tigers right fielder Lukas Taylor put his stamp on his team's 5-3 win over the Yakima Valley Pippins. Taylor was 3-4 with a triple and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Medford in the contest. After losing, Yakima Valley is 1-8.

With Medford trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Taylor hit a fastball from Roberto Gaxiola for a 2-run triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Flying Tigers ahead, 2-1.

"I felt good up there," said Taylor. "I saw the ball well."
