Lobsters Knock Off Sea Unicorns at Redding Grounds
|
The Maine Lobsters did just enough to secure a victory over the Gold Beach Sea Unicorns, 7-6, at Redding Grounds. Nobody did more than first baseman Sid Lippold. The Lobsters raised their record to 22-17.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Javier Ocano? The Maine right fielder had a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put the Lobsters on top, 3-0. For the game, Ocano had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"We take it day by day here," said Lippold, "and today was a good one for us."
