Super Swinger -- Hazel Slams 5 Hits
|
Wenatchee Chiefs left fielder Allen Hazel really lit up the Abbotsford Canucks with a 5-hit barrage at Ballpark of Abbotsford -- a performance that sparked the Chiefs to a 5-2 triumph.
He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes."
Allen Hazel singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Colin Pulalo in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
A look at his season totals shows Hazel with 2 home runs, .458 BA, .480 OBP, 5 RBIs and 4 runs scored.
