Indians Top Oilers, 3-0

Jacob Parfait was in top form in a low-scoring contest between Spokane and Oil City. The Indians right-hander helped his team beat the Oilers, 3-0. In 5 innings, Parfait surrendered 2 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. Earning his 3rd save for Spokane was Jake Simpson.
T.J. Miles dealt the Oilers a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with a runner on 2nd and Spokane leading 1-0, Miles hit a 1-2 cutter for a run-scoring single.
"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Vernon Shepherd.
