Gaudreault Propels Wenatchee Offense in 15-0 Rout
|
The Wenatchee Chiefs pasted the Roseburg Owls, 15-0. Wenatchee center fielder Brian Gaudreault had a big game. He was 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and 3 walks, while scoring 3 runs. Wenatchee occupies second place in the Northwest League North Division at 25-12.
The Chiefs got a big hit from left fielder Jack Martin. In the bottom of the eighth, Martin pounded a bases-clearing double to right. His 11th double of the season put the Chiefs ahead, 13-0.
"That game had disaster written all over it," said Roseburg skipper Sherman Reindollar. "I could feel it."
