Sea Unicorns Turn Back Eugene, 2-1

PK Park featured a tense pitchers' duel.
Starting pitcher Moe Tabb gave the Gold Beach Sea Unicorns a rock-solid effort. The Garland, Texas native helped his team defeat the Eugene Emeralds, 2-1, at PK Park. Alex Gentle earned the save for Gold Beach, his 1st of the year.
Gold Beach relied on the hitting of Dontonio Lewis to pick up the win. The right fielder ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the third inning to put the Sea Unicorns on top, 2-0. For the game, Lewis had 1 triple and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"Moe was locating, throwing all of his pitches," said Gold Beach manager Jason Campbell. "He did a heck of a job."
Gold Beach sits at 2-1.
