Flying Tigers Stick Doubledays with 4-0 Loss
Medford rode a fine outing from starter Thor Roberts to victory over the Auburn Doubledays at Falcon Park. The final score was 4-0. Roberts got the win, improving to 1-2. He allowed 1 hit and walked 6 over 6.1 innings. Roberts allowed no runs. The Flying Tigers, at 24-11, sit in first place in the Northwest League South Division.

Medford used the bat of Rafael Pabon to capture the win. The third baseman jacked a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Flying Tigers ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Pabon told the Medford Today.
