Red Wings Taken Down, 3-1, by Batavia
|
Gavrie Park pitched a gem to lead Batavia to victory over the Hamilton Red Wings, 3-1. Remington Khan notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. His record now sits at 1-2. The Muckdogs are now 20-50.
Hernando Harley came through for Batavia when he hit a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a two-strike fastball to right field, staking his team to a 1-0 lead.
"Tough loss," said Hamilton manager Jordan Attwood. "But we'll rebound from it."
