Doubledays Fall to Lobsters, 5-1

The Maine Lobsters defeated the Auburn Doubledays, 5-1, at Falcon Park. Maine right fielder Aiden Chappel had a superb performance. He went 4-4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2. The setback makes Auburn 35-34.
Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for V.J. Hutchinson? The 20-year old left fielder Hutchinson stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put Maine up, 3-1. For the game, he was 3 for 5, including 1 double and 2 singles.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Maine skipper Lincoln Anthony.
