Auburn Gets 6-2 Road Win
Auburn Doubledays starter Júlio Fernández kept the Niagara Falls Rapids hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-2 win. The win puts the Doubledays at 40-27, while the Rapids drop to 32-35.

Auburn used the timely hitting of Lewis Flint to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Doubledays on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"I felt we were ready to go," said Auburn manager Carlos Renteria. "Our pregame was pretty good."
