Spinners Drop 5-1 Decision to Jokers
|
The Atlantic City Jokers defeated the Lowell Spinners, 5-1, at Monongalia County Ballpark. Atlantic City catcher Kyle Passafiume had a superb performance. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Benji Grgas earned the save, his 2nd. The win lifted the Atlantic City record to 42-26.
Atlantic City took a 5-1 lead on Passafiume's 6th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off J.R. Rooker in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Atlantic City to the win.
"It was a pretty good night," said Passafiume.
