Fernández Hits 2 home runs in Doubledays Win
|
The 4-2 Auburn win over Aberdeen was due largely to Francisco Fernández. The Doubledays designated hitter went 2-3 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The current losing streak for Aberdeen has reached 4 games.
The game turned with two out in the top of the fourth when Fernández hit a 2-run home run. It thrust the Doubledays into the lead, 4-2.
"We did a lot of things right," said Fernández.
