The bat of Scott Paulson helped the Atlantic City Jokers top the Staten Island Pizza Rats, 6-4, in 10 innings. Paulson was 2 for 5 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for Atlantic City. Atlantic City reliever José Miguel Escalera picked up the win. Ace Goodson took the loss for Staten Island. The 4th-place Pizza Rats have dropped 6 straight games.

Paulson had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 1-0 fastball from Ace Goodson, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Jokers a 6-4 lead. It was the 14th home run of the year for Paulson.
