Walk-Off Seals 40th Victory for Black Bears
The West Virginia Black Bears picked up a win at Dutchess Stadium, knocking off the Oil City Oilers, 4-3. On the mound for West Virginia was right-hander Israel Orozco. He played a key role in the triumph. West Virginia reliever Patrick Nettles picked up the win to move to 2-2. Ramon Lemus suffered the loss. West Virginia is third in the New York-Penn League South Division with a record of 40-24.

Ximenes Armenta was the walk-off hero for West Virginia. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Black Bears second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Israel definitely kept his composure, kept making pitches," said West Virginia manager Jesus Sánchez.
