Connecticut Gets 6-4 Win
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Connecticut Tigers and Auburn Doubledays.

Connecticut picked up a win at Falcon Park, bumping off the Auburn Doubledays, 6-4. Pitcher Yhan Santana was a major reason the Tigers emerged victorious. Theodore Conrad finished the game for Connecticut and earned his 13th save.

Connecticut used the hitting of Brad Rodgers to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Tigers on top, 2-1. For the game, Rodgers had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Santana.

The Tigers go to 26-36, putting them 7th in the New York-Penn League South Division.
