Jackson Brill knocked in 3 runs to help Niagara Falls beat West Virginia, 9-1. Brill produced 1 single and 1 home run. Niagara Falls is now 28-32, West Virginia 40-20.

The Black Bears had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Rapids going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 21-year old shortstop Hugo Freeman came to the plate. Freeman hit a bases-clearing triple on a 1-0 changeup from West Virginia hurler Roger De Luna. It was Freeman's 2nd triple of the year.

"I think it speaks for itself, I think we came out and we played our kind of baseball," said Freeman.
