Jokers Rally For Late Win Over Pizza Rats
The Atlantic City Jokers topped the Staten Island Pizza Rats, 5-4, with youngster Bertrand Lebel playing a key role. Lebel went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Jokers in the win. The winner was Martin Rodriguez in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Bernard Charron took the loss. The Jokers have an impressive 38-22 record.

The decisive blow was delivered by Bryson Mandat in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 23-year old right-handed pitcher Bernard Charron to win the game for Atlantic City. The home crowd went nuts.

"This place went bonkers," Lebel said.
