Hawks Dispose of Indians, 12-3
|
James Conner was a major contributor to the 12-3 Boise win over Spokane. The Hawks second baseman went 2-5 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Andy Burns, now 3-2, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 2 and walking 2. Boise, at 11-18, sits in 6th place in the Northwest League South Division.
Karam Lynch, the 23-year old first baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Lynch contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the third inning to put Boise up, 4-2.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Conner said after the game.
