Sea Unicorns Suffer 7-2 Home Loss
|
Kennewick rode a fine outing from starter Collins Pierre to victory over the Gold Beach Sea Unicorns at Redding Grounds. The final score was 7-2. Gustavo Helton recorded the save for Kennewick, his 1st of the season. With the win, Kennewick upped its record to 23-6.
Sam Zahn, who is tied for 10th in the NWL in bases on balls with 20, aided the Kennewick cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth. For the game, the third baseman was 1-3 with a double and a walk.
Pierre said his team "played with focus."
