Multi-HR Day for Mary as Lobsters Overpower ValleyCats, 9-5
The Maine Lobsters defeated the Tri-City ValleyCats, 9-5, at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium. Leading the charge for Maine was shortstop Jamie Mary. He went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. The second-place Lobsters lifted their record to 32-24.

Maine designated hitter Jeramiah Barry contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the second. With two down, he hit a fastball to right-center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 48th hit of the season and put the Lobsters ahead, 2-0.

"I still think this team can play even better," Mary told the Maine Herald.
