Oilers Pick Up 6-1 Win
|
Oil City turned a good effort from starter Francisco Montilla into a win over the Aberdeen Ironbirds at The Oil Field. The final score was 6-1. Montilla picked up the win for Oil City, going 5.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 3-1. The 4th-place Oilers improved to 15-13.
Early in the game, left fielder Derek Ceccarini had a 2-run double for Oil City. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Oilers on top, 2-1.
