Rapids Win, 5-2, Versus Oil City
|
Niagara Falls got a strong outing from Dan Tredo as the Rapids defeated the Oil City Oilers, 5-2, at The Oil Field. The Oilers, now 17-39, have lost 5 in a row.
Neil Easter came through with a big-time hit for Niagara Falls. The pinch hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"We're not really clicking on anything right now," said Oil City manager Zeke Butler.
