The Youngstown Gremlins picked up a win at Dutchess Stadium, taking down the West Virginia Black Bears, 7-3. Starting pitcher Noah Giese was a big reason why. The 4th-place Gremlins improved to 32-25.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Yipolito Ambriz? The Youngstown left fielder had a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put the Gremlins on top, 1-0. For the game, Ambriz had 2 doubles and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

Ambriz attributed the win to his team's "hyper resolve."
