Extra-Inning Win by Lobsters Over Spinners
The Maine Lobsters knocked off the Lowell Spinners, 6-2, in New York-Penn League action at Edward A. LeLacheur Park. Maine pitcher and San Cristóbal, Dominican Republic, native Pedro Gamboa had an outstanding performance. Maine reliever Aidan Brown picked up the win, while Steve Travis took the loss for Lowell. The second-place Lobsters have won 9 in a row.

Maine used the clutch hitting of Nicholas Lockhart to snag the win. The left fielder drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Lobsters ahead, 6-2. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

"We looked pretty good up and down," said Maine manager Lincoln Anthony.
