Jokers Win with Late Heroics
The Aberdeen Ironbirds could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Stew Leonard into a win. Instead, the Atlantic City Jokers prevailed, 7-4, in 13 innings. Leonard threw 6.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Atlantic City pitcher Henry Yim got the win. He's now 2-1. Nik Jones was tagged with the loss. Atlantic City now sports a record of 29-19.

The decisive blow was delivered by Romeo Saez in the bottom of the 13th when he hit a 3-run home run off 22-year old right-handed pitcher Nik Jones to win the game for Atlantic City. The home crowd went nuts.

"The crowd was juiced," said Saez.
