Big Day by Hall Ignites Jokers Win
|
The Atlantic City Jokers beat the Aberdeen Ironbirds, 9-5, at Monongalia County Ballpark. Atlantic City shortstop Coy Hall had the hot bat. He was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs. Atlantic City has won 4 straight games.
Bertrand Lebel had a big 3-run home run for the Jokers in the bottom of the third inning. With Atlantic City trailing 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Sean Butler and swatted a home run to left. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Jokers ahead, 4-2.
"Nice to keep our winning streak intact," said Lebel.
