Herman Earns Praise as Lake Monsters Topple Spinners, 10-7
William Herman put on a hitting clinic in helping Vermont beat Lowell, 10-7. Herman had 1 single and 2 doubles for the Lake Monsters. He also scored 2 runs and knocked in 5. Tristan Swiderski got the save, the 7th for him this season. Their 22-28 record puts the Lake Monsters 6th in the New York-Penn League North Division.

The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until Herman delivered big-time for Vermont, stroking a dramatic 2-run double off Thon Williamson. The game-changing hit put the Lake Monsters on top, 9-7.
