Jordan Covington, who is tied for 9th in the NYP with a 8.4 K/9 rate, propelled his team to victory over the Maine Lobsters. The final score was 7-0, Aberdeen. The Ironbirds now own a record of 21-29.

Russ Arenberg went 1-5 with a double for Aberdeen. The 22-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off David Deschamps. It was his 20th RBI of the season.

"For the most part, I felt like I did a pretty good job with executing the pitches I was throwing," said Covington.
