Jokers Notch 5-2 Win Versus Spikes
Atlantic City Jokers starter Chris Riggs turned in a top-notch performance against the State College Spikes at Monongalia County Ballpark. The result was a win for the Jokers, 5-2. Del Castrejon sewed up the save, his 12th. Atlantic City has a record of 32-17, placing them first in the New York-Penn League South Division.

The Jokers got a big at-bat from shortstop Vince Martz. For the game, Martz went 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Atlantic City a 3-2 lead.

Said losing manager Bobby Spencer: "The at-bats, obviously, needed to be better."
