Atlantic City center fielder Samuel Puentes was instrumental in helping the Jokers triumph, 8-1, over the State College Spikes. Puentes was 3 for 4 with a triple and a double, while scoring 3 runs. Ian Baker got the win, improving to 1-4. He worked 6.2 innings, giving up 1 run on 5 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 2. Atlantic City, with the win, climbs to 17-32.

The Jokers benefited from a costly error in the bottom of the third. With Ryan Petty at bat and Atlantic City leading 1-0, the State College miscue allowed Atlantic City to plate 2 and take the lead, 3-0.

"Not one of our better nights," said State College skipper Ben Osborne.
