Ironbirds Dump Brooklyn, 3-2, to Win 4th in a Row
Spirited fans greeted the Brooklyn Cyclones for their clash with the Aberdeen Ironbirds.

Mark Cross, who is tied for 2nd in the NYP with a 10.6 K/9 rate, had a strong outing for the Aberdeen Ironbirds against the Brooklyn Cyclones at MCU Park. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-2 win. Cross picked up the win for Aberdeen, going 6 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 3-4. Guillermo Moreno earned the save for Aberdeen, his 9th.

With two out in the top of the third, Marc Agudo put Aberdeen in front, 3-0, with a run-scoring single. The Ironbirds went on to win the ballgame.
