The Connecticut Tigers and Batavia Muckdogs delighted fans at Dwyer Stadium.

The Batavia Muckdogs defeated the Connecticut Tigers by the score of 6-2, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Ron O'Neal. O'Neal went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Muckdogs on the day. Batavia pitcher Dom Ford got the win, upping his record to 2-0. Oliver Harsh got the loss. J'Ron White stitched up the save, his 9th.

Early in the game, O'Neal had a 2-run home run for Batavia. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Muckdogs on top, 2-0.

"They beat us fair and square," Connecticut skipper Simon Begum said.

The Muckdogs raised their record to 28-15.
