The West Virginia Black Bears stopped the Tri-City ValleyCats, 6-5, in 11 innings at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium. The Black Bears got a big game from Duke Cyr, who went 4-6 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. West Virginia is now 22-21.

Cyr had a game-changing home run in the top of the 11th. On a 3-1 cutter from Jayden Arents, he banged a solo home run to center, giving the Black Bears a 6-5 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Cyr.

In postgame remarks, Cyr simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
