Cameron goes 4-for-5, Ignites Connecticut Offense
A 3-RBI performance from designated hitter Len Cameron, who is tied for 4th in the NYP with a 1.022 OPS, led the Connecticut Tigers to a win over the Lowell Spinners, 9-7. Jammer Dougherty closed the door for Connecticut, picking up his 12th save of the year. Connecticut, at 26-18, occupies third place in the New York-Penn League South Division.

Billy Robbins drew 1 walk in 2 trips to the plate for Connecticut. The 22-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the ninth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 7-7 tie with a run-scoring walk off Steve Travis. It was his 2nd walk of the season.

"We're just feeding off each other right now," said Cameron.
