The Hamilton Red Wings got production from their entire lineup in an easy 22-3 win over the Aberdeen Ironbirds. Doing his part was designated hitter Gabino Montenegro. Montenegro went 4-5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 7. Quinn Price earned the save, his 1st. Hamilton, at 27-18, sits in third place in the New York-Penn League North Division.

With Hamilton leading 3-0 in the bottom of the first, Montenegro hit a changeup from Dusty Ells for a grand slam home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Red Wings ahead, 7-0.

"Every win gets us closer to our ultimate goal," said Montenegro.
