Lobsters Get Close Win Over Rapids, 4-3
The Maine Lobsters had to overcome a fine effort from Niagara Falls pitcher Lucas Maddox to win, 4-3, at Portland Ballpark. Maddox went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Maine is in first place in the New York-Penn League North Division with a record of 27-17.

Maine got a knockout punch from Kelly Roebuck. The catcher hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"This stadium was a-rockin'," said Roebuck.
