4-1 Atlantic City Win Thrills Crowd
The Atlantic City Jokers and Tri-City ValleyCats needed extra innings at Monongalia County Ballpark to determine a winner.

Atlantic City turned a good effort from starting pitcher Hadden McJunkin into a win over the Tri-City ValleyCats at Monongalia County Ballpark. The final score was 4-1 in 10 innings. Paul Lieske snagged the win in relief. He goes to 4-0 on the season. Elias Huber suffered the loss.

The decisive blow was delivered by Iban Cuevas in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a 3-run home run off 20-year old left-handed pitcher Elias Huber to win the game for Atlantic City. The home crowd went nuts.

"Fans understand the heart of this club is really, really strong, beating all the time," said Jokers manager Jose Ornelas.

The 4th-place Jokers improved to 23-18.
