Chastain goes 3-for-4 in Cyclones Win
The Brooklyn Cyclones stymied the West Virginia Black Bears, 6-2, at MCU Park. Brandon Chastain had a good day at the plate. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for Brooklyn. Lee Park got the win, improving to 4-1. He pitched 6.2 innings, giving up 6 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 7 and walking 2. Brooklyn designated hitter Jolly Roger Taylor contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a cutter to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 17th hit of the season and put the Cyclones ahead, 3-0.
