The Youngstown Gremlins had their hands full with Maine Lobsters starter Patrick Boston, who frustrated Youngstown hitters while leading Maine to a comfortable, 7-1 win. Boston picked up the win for Maine, going 6.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 1-1. Stony Moss earned the save for Maine, his 1st of the year.

With one out in the bottom of the second, Cristian McMahon put Maine in front, 2-0, with a 2-run single. The Lobsters went on to win the ballgame.

"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Maine manager Bill Medina.

Today's win puts Maine at 16-20, while Youngstown falls to 21-15.
