The New Westminster Cavalry beat the Lowell Spinners, 2-1, at Grays Harbor Ballpark. Starting pitcher Bienvenido Landestoy was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. A.J. Fabricant finished the game for New Westminster and earned his 1st save. Lowell has now lost 6 consecutive games.

The Cavalry got a big at-bat from second baseman Ari Bath. For the game, Bath went 2 for 4 with a double. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 1st double of the season gave New Westminster a 2-1 lead.
