Marauders Win Nail-Biter
|
In a well-pitched game between the Kennewick Marauders and the Roseburg Owls, pitcher Brian Tout was fantastic. The Kennewick right-hander helped his team secure the win, 2-1. The Marauders raised their record to 13-4.
Kennewick won the game in the bottom of the 16th inning. With no outs and Scott Childress on the mound for Roseburg, third baseman Sam Zahn hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Marauders fans to their feet.
"It was a test of wills," said Jesse Felts, the Kennewick skipper. "I'm glad we came out of it with a win."
